Jason's Big 3-0

Last Saturday we celebrated Jason's birthday with the Lewis fam and a wing cook off. Ladies and gentlemen, we have unleashed a beast! Jason's family is so competitive... I think we will not be able to get together again without having some sort of contest. January was chili cook off, March was wings, and April is ribs. I'm trying to talk them into coming to my house in May and having a house cleaning competition.

Here is the wing champion preparing his tied-for-first place spicy wings. Delicious!

Since it was Jason's big 3-0 (can you believe he's that old?!?!), he was allowed to invite some friends. Just like in elementary school. :)

You never know when there might be a dessert shortage. Us Lewis' come prepared.

Jason designed his own cake this year. Got all rock-star cool with the black roses.

Obviously didn't stop to think about the mess black roses would make.

Or how much fun black frosting could be!

We also served up Kensie sandwiches.
xo xo xo

There were lots of people and we had lots of fun.... apparently a little too much for Kensie. Either that or she was embarrassed to have such old parents. :)
